Buzznerd is proud to announce our latest showcase build: The new Kriete Truck Centers AI-Powered Digital Storefront with integrated Hubspot CRM!!!
With the support of the Office of Experience in Chicago (OX) and of course our wonderful liaisons over at Kriete, we set out to build one of our most premium and showcase builds. We loved this build so much that we wanted to share how we put it all together.
How We Architect The Content
One of the key aspects of any website is how easy it is for a customer to find things. Creating a sitemap not only helps customers understand how the content is architected but also helps SEO by helping search engines like Google understand the website and how the content is organized.
"We always love working with dealers such as Kriete Truck Centers that understand the importance of user experience. As they say, it takes two to tango and the talented folks at Kriete and OX helped make their new digital storefront best-in-class."

Using Design Standards
The new Kriete Brand Style Guide served as the basis for the design of the new site. Incorporating the brand style guide into their digital storefront ensures brand consistency across all Kriete marketing media. The brand style guide includes design standards such as:
- Font style, sizes, and colors
- Button treatments
- Delineators and card treatments
- Logo standards
Using a Brand Style Guide is always recommended because it not only makes the branding consistent but ups the level of professionalism thus helping earn the trust of the dealer’s customer.
Designing the Homepage
Using the elements from the brand style guide, we created a custom-designed homepage that also includes user-friendly and key features showcasing the important aspects of Kriete.
After a couple of small revisions, everyone was pleased with the modern, sleek but simple design that gets the message across.
“Websites are never really done,” said John Walsh, Executive Vice President of Marketing at Kriete. “We’ve already identified opportunities for further optimization of our new site but are certainly pleased with the support we received from both OX and Buzznerd in getting us to a place that’s leaps and bounds beyond where we were with our previous site.”

Creating The Other Pages
Once the homepage design was signed-off, we re-used the same design elements throughout the other pages of the site. By using the same design elements, the customer doesn’t have to re-learn how to use these elements on other pages, creating a uniform and frictionless experience. Using a TV remote control analogy, think of the Homepage as the TV Remote and we re-use the same design elements on other pages so the customer doesn’t have to re-learn a different TV remote when traversing other pages of the site.
Custom Inventory Landing Pages
Given that Kriete sells different types of inventory, we created additional inventory landing pages for them using a single inventory source feed. By doing this, Kriete customers can get to the inventory type they are looking for right off the bat. It also helps with Search Engine Optimization as keeping these on their own pages makes them more crawlable by Google and helps Google categorize them properly.
On-page SEO
As always, we help On-page Search Engine Optimization by incorporating best practices such as alt-tags on images and videos, meta descriptions, header font usage, and more. We also equipped Kriete with On-page SEO software to help them further enhance their pages.
Accessibility
As always, our AI-Powered Websites are built using the latest accessibility guidelines to help disabled people view and use the websites. In addition, we install Accessibility tools to help the users further make the websites accessible with abilities to increase contrast levels, font sizes and more.
Hubspot CRM Integration
Kriete wanted to use the tried-and-true HubSpot platform for their marketing CRM needs. In order for the website leads to populate into HubSpot automatically, HubSpot forms were created and then incorporated into the website. This created a best of both worlds’ scenario with a premium-built Buzznerd Website with forms directly integrated into HubSpot.
